You know us... this is not a traditional wedding. Come dressed in whatever makes you happy, but at least please avoid jogging bottoms! Dresses, trousers, shorts, blazers, shirts etc... are all fine. Just remember, it's late May in England, so will be somewhere in the 15-20 degree range.

We are not providing transport between the ceremony (The Great Hall) and the Reception (the Barn at Avington), so please be prepared to make your own way.

There is parking in central Winchester (not directly at the venue) and parking at the Barn in the adjacent field.

The local taxi companies know where both venues are.

We are happy to ensure that there are options available to you, but please make sure you let us know in your RSVPs so we can ensure we have enough for anyone that needs it.

We are aware that we will have to cater for vegetarians and gluten free, but the sooner you let us know, the sooner we can make sure there are proper arrangements for you.

If you have booked a glamping tent at the Barn, your tent should be accessible from 2pm.

If you are coming for the evening, you can begin arriving any time from 7pm.

For the ceremony at the Great Hall, please arrive between 2:30 and 2:45pm. This gives everyone a chance to get in and get situated, plus have a moment to take in the beauty of the Great Hall!

For the Reception at the Barn, please arrive from 6pm onwards.

You can book the tent that you want directly with Hampshire Party Pods using the link on the Accommodations page.

Tents will be set up for when you arrive and have your names outside them so you know which is yours.

Don't forget to either book your bedding to be provided at the checkout, or bring your own with you.

The biggest gift for us is you attending our wedding, but if you'd like to contribute to our Wedding Registry we would be very grateful!

If you don't want to donate through the registry, or it's too late to do so, you can always send money to us directly.

If you want to do it the more traditional way, you are always welcome to put cash in a card. Or any other way that works for you.

Ultimately, we are just grateful that you want to help out!

Invitations are strictly for those named on the invitations you have received. We can only cater for so many people.

However, reach out to us directly if you want to discuss. Please note that our decision on attendance is absolutely final.

There is no parking available directly at the ceremony venue in Winchester, however there are many local car parks that are a 5 minute walk from the venue ('Gladstone Street Car Park', 'Tower Street Multi-Storey' are both close by and easy to use).

There is parking available in the field opposite the reception venue, adjacent to where the glamping tents will be. Please note that it may be dark late at night so take care when returning to your vehicles.
