An evening around the firepit
The Barn at Avington, Park Farm, Winchester, SO21 1BZ
The evening before the wedding we will be hosting a gathering around the firepit at the Barn at Avington.
This will include singalongs, stories, toasting marshmallows, sparklers and general merriment!
Join us at the Barn from 7pm for a barbecue and then across to the Firepit around 8:30 until 10pm.
For those of you staying in the glamping, the firepit is just beyond the glamping site!
Wedding Ceremony
The Great Hall, Castle Avenue, Winchester, SO23 8UJ
Please arrive at the Great Hall between 2:30 and 2:45 so the ceremony can begin on time at 3pm.
There is public parking available in Central Winchester a 5 minute walk from the venue ("Gladstone Street Car Park", "Tower Street Multi-Storey" are both close by and easy to use.). Please note that there is no parking at the venue itself.
There will be a drinks reception in the Great Hall straight after the ceremony where we will also be taking pictures until 5pm. You can take some fantastic pictures in the Great Hall itself, and there are some small gardens out the back, but please bear in mind a limited number of guests can be out there at once, so you might have to wait your turn!

Wedding Reception

We will then begin making our way to the Barn at Avington for the reception, where food will be available from 6pm.
There is ample parking in the field opposite the barn next to the glamping tents. Apparently the local taxi companies also know where the Barn is if you'd rather not drive!
The reception will end around 11:30.
Stress Free Day

You're welcome to join us back at the Barn from midday where we will be hanging out, playing games, probably having another barbecue and snacks, eating any leftover wedding cake and just spending some good old fashioned time together.
Feel free to bring your own board/card games!
